"Rachel has called me for years trying to get me to switch from my current insurance carrier to State Farm. Well, she succeeded this time. With hard work and being persistent, having a attitude of not giving up and showing her commitment to customer service, she won me over. Customer Service is very important to me because of my position in the workplace, Chief Customer Service Officer for the company that I work for. But what was just as important is the money I will save annually. My annual premium is 25% of what I was previously paying. "State Farm canceled my home owners insurance because I inquired about claims through the app instead of calling the office. Kim’s office never communicated that this would get me dropped until it was too late. They claim they tell their customers, but this was not the case for me. Now I can’t get home owners insurance through another insurer because State Farm is petty. Thanks Kim… Kim’s office also kept my insurance on a totaled vehicle for two months after I requested the insurance be canceled on said vehicle. They took it off my insurance cards in the app, but kept charging me for the vehicle. The agent I spoke with was evasive and wouldn’t answer direct questions. Eventually, I was able to get a direct answer, and that answer was they’ve been charging me for a vehicle I didn’t have use of."
"Hello John - I am so sorry your house is being non renewed. You had filed 2 claims through the app that were not a covered loss. All homeowner policies that customers receive from State Farm discloses covered and noncovered losses in the documents. The agent's offices do not know the number of claims that are filed that would get a customer nonrenewed. We do not have the information to forecast that and neither do we make the decision on non-renewals or claims. It is intuitive to most to know the more claims that are filed, the higher risk of being nonrenewed. Two of the claims that you filed on your own were noncovered losses. Had you called our office, we would have stated this, although, we can never tell a customer to not file a claim. State Farm also paid out over $40,000 in a 3rd claim of yours. 3 claims filed within a year and 8 months is far out of the norm - the norm is 1 non weather claim every 33 years. I have appealed your nonrenewal but they did not approve it. We have given you other companies to call for insurance. If those companies would not cover you, please call us back and we can give you a few others to check with. Again, we are sorry for your nonrenewal and will work to help you find home insurance with another carrier."
